RELIGIOUS EDUCATION / FAITH FORMATION PROGRAM

  • Our Faith Formation program begins at First Grade level.

  • Pre-Communion Level – This is the first of two years of preparation to receive Sacraments of First Communion and First Penance /Reconciliation.

  • Communion Level - Students will prepare for the reception of the Sacraments of First Communion and First Penance/Reconciliation.

  • Post-Communion Level - Students will continue learning the Basic Catechism with the aim of preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

  • Pre-Confirmation Level - Students will learn how to put into practice their Catholic Christian faith by living the Works of Mercy and learning more deeply the Catholic Faith.

  • Confirmation Level - Students will continue living their faith by practicing the Works of Mercy and by preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. So, they will be ready for the next phase of their lives as Catholics.


RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS (R.C.I.C. / R.C.I.A.):


These classes are for the unbaptized who wish to become Christians and members of the Catholic Church. This is a TWO-YEAR PROGRAM. The first year the candidate is introduced to basic Catholic doctrine. The second year the candidate is prepared to receive the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. The candidate enters into full communion with the Catholic Church during the Easter Vigil celebration.


PROGRAMA DE EDUCACIÓN RELIGIOSA / FORMACIÓN DE FE
 

  • Nuestro programa de Formación de Fe comienza en el nivel de primer grado.

  • Nivel de Pre-Comunión – Este es el primero de dos anos de preparación para recibir los Sacramentos de la Primera Comunión y de la Penitencia / Reconciliación.

  • Nivel de Primera Comunión - Los estudiantes se preparan para la recepción de los Sacramentos de la Primera Comunión y de la Penitencia / Reconciliación.

  • Nivel Posterior a la Comunión (Post-Communion): Los alumnos continuarán aprendiendo el Catecismo Básico con el objetivo de prepararse para el Sacramento de la Confirmación.

  • Nivel Previo a la Confirmación (Pre-Confirmation): Los alumnos aprenderán a poner en práctica su fe católica cristiana viviendo las Obras de Misericordia y aprendiendo más profundamente la fe católica.

  • Nivel de Confirmación: Los estudiantes continuarán viviendo su fe practicando las Obras de Misericordia y preparándose para recibir el Sacramento de la Confirmación. Entonces, estarán listos para la próxima fase de sus vidas como Católicos.


RITO DE INICIACIÓN CRISTIANA PARA NIÑOS Y ADULTOS (R.C.I.C. / R.I.C.A.):

Estas clases son para los no bautizados y quieren ser miembros de la Iglesia Católica. Este es un Programa de Dos Años. El primer año se introduce al candidato a la doctrina católica básica. El segundo año, el candidato se prepara para recibir los Sacramentos de Iniciación: Bautismo, Eucaristía y Confirmación. El candidato entra en comunión plena con la Iglesia Católica durante la celebración de la Vigilia Pascual.
