Financial Aid enables Saint Jerome Catholic School to enroll students who would not otherwise be able to afford a Catholic education because of financial constraints. Our administration is working arduously to obtain the necessary support and generosity from our Saint Jerome community, benefactors, and foundations, so that we may be able to extend aid to our families in need, thus fostering a more diverse school community.
Saint Jerome offers financial aid for returning Catholic students whose families cannot afford the full cost of tuition. Financial aid assistance is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to qualified Catholic students.
All families who are interested in financial aid are encouraged to apply through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. All financial aid awards are based upon the family’s need and special circumstances as supplied in their FACTS application.
Saint Jerome Catholic School believes strongly in providing service to the community and financial aid to those in need. It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to submit the FACTS application online, no later than March 1st so that financial aid decisions can be made on a timely basis.
Saint Jerome Catholic School participates in the FTC (Florida Tax Credit) Scholarships Program also known as the Step Up for Students Scholarship. The program provides K-12 education scholarships for qualifying low-income students. These scholarships allow the students to consider a private school that may better suit their individual needs.
The McKay Scholarships for Students with Disabilities Program, originally created in 1999, provides scholarships for eligible K-12 students with qualifying documented disabilities to attend an eligible public or private school of their choice. Saint Jerome Catholic School accepts the McKay Scholarship Program for qualified ESE students. McKay Scholarship students must provide the school with a current IEP and proof of a filed parental intent with the student application in February during the school’s open enrollment.
